Five people in east Tennessee find themselves trapped inside a mobile home with an operating meth lab and federal agents outside. After their surrender, all the occupants are indicted by the Federal Government for drug and explosives charges when road flares are mistaken as dynamite.
Samuel Evers, the cook in the trailer, is offered a deal with the DEA and the local Drug Task Force. He is given the chance to gain his freedom if he is willing to work as a confidential informant but in one months time the bodies start to pile up and his handlers might not be willing to admit to the orders they gave Sam.
In an attempt to protect himself, Sam began keeping a journal of his meetings and movements while under the control of the agents.

I think that it is very true that federal and state government agencies put people in danger all the time by making them believe that they are doing the right thing by wearing a wire, or testifying in court to things that may not be true will get them a reduced sentence. Most of the time the informants who are bullied into gathering intel are not awarded any kind of clemency. Some are even given more time, many are killed.This is the point that Wayne Huffman is trying to get across in this book. Most of the people doing 15+ years for meth were addicts themselves. It is depressing that your government hands out longer sentences to drug addicts than most sex offenders.
This book is not for the prude or faint of hear although it is a work of fiction, it gives you a clear look into the dark world of methamphetamine addiction and manufacturing. I hope that the right people will read this and
